I’m thrilled to finally share "Adhan Time: Prayer" with you all.
What inspired me?
I’ve always believed that tools for spiritual practice should be as peaceful as the practice itself. I noticed that many existing prayer time apps were cluttered with intrusive ads, complex interfaces, and unreliable notification systems—especially on newer Android versions. I wanted to build something that respects the user’s focus and time.
The problem I’m solving:
The main challenge was reliability and simplicity. Users shouldn't have to worry if their alarm will trigger or struggle with a heavy UI. "Adhan Time: Prayer" solves this by using high-precision data (Al-Adhan API), full offline support, and a rock-solid notification system optimized for Android 13+.
The evolution of my approach:
Initially, I focused purely on technical accuracy. However, during development, my process shifted toward minimalism. I spent a lot of time stripping away distractions to ensure a "peaceful simplicity." I also realized the importance of global accessibility, which led to supporting 12 languages and customizable audio files right from the start.
